The true nature of the Ukrainian crisis is coming plainly into view, at least in my mind. Russia’s long term fiscal health is based upon its continued monopoly of hydrocarbons, specifically its major gas supplies to Europe. The maturation of fracking technologies in western Ukraine, Poland and Romania represents a grave threat to Gazprom’s energy monopoly. Russia’s economic lifeblood is being systematically challenged by western / globalist interests. As I wrote on Sunday, the long term agenda is to isolate Russia diplomatically, cripple it economically, and crash the rouble. Russia remains a major obstacle to the emerging one world system, and the Putin regime has been targeted for regime change along with North Korea, Syria and Iran.
